<p>I submitted my app last week for UCI business economics. I got the whole "logon and check app status" email today so I did. When I reviewed my app, I noticed that there was weird "?" in random areas of my personal statement. I checked my word document where I originally wrote it and it did not have any of these errors.</p>
<p>Anyone else getting similar issues?</p>

<p>I am sure 100% positive that i applied into 5 ucs, but when i viewed, i saw only 4 so i was freak out. Immediately, i log out and log in again, everything goes back to normal.</p>
<p>That “?” is most likely where " and ’ are suppose to be, correct? When you copy & paste your personal statement onto your application, you are supposed to double check it to make sure such characters aren’t there. You were suppose to copy & paste in a certain fashion so that doesn’t happen. It was all in the directions.</p>

<p>i had that too! the indentations were replaced with “?”. i was o.o lol so i removed those and left it to the left</p>
<p>dude i just looked at it and realized that I have the symbols too. Hopefully they’re like SHOOT THIS GUY CAN’T LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS, REJECTION!!</p>
<p>It’s not a big deal, it automatically adds a question mark to the indentations. I’m sure it happens frequently and the ad coms know. Even then, they might have a filter for it so by the time they read it, it’s not even there anymore</p>
