<p>Dr. Sofia Gruskin has joined the USC Keck School of Medicine with a joint appointment at the USC Institute for Global Health and the USC Gould School of Law. At SC she will lead the Program on Global Health and Human Rights.</p>
<p>Her research will examine barriers that impede access to public health services. She has been a leader in academic and policy research in public health, law and human rights.</p>
<p>Dr. Gruskin received her bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz with a focus on ethnomethodology, a JD from the Cardozo School of Law and a master's degree in international affairs from Columbia University.</p>
<p>Previously, Professor Gruskin has served as Director of the Program on International Health and Human Rights at Harvard University. She serves as an associate editor for the American Journal of Public Health, Global Public Health and Reproductive Health Matters.</p>
