Hi, on my college search I’ve recently been looking into NYU, and am thoroughly intrigued by this program (not so much the Liberal studies program because I don’t think I would transfer to a different major and like the 2 years study abroad opportunity)
Anyways, is anyone currently participating in this/have participated and want to vouch for it or share their experience? Is it apart of CAS or its own program altogether? Is it more or less selective than other NYU CAS majors? Is it likely I will be placed in my first choice location for my freshman year abroad (if I’m accepted of course)? Is it worth not majoring in International studies at another renowned college? Thanks so much!
My son is in his first freshman semester at NYU’s Liberal Studies program. He could have studied abroad this semester, but plans to wait until Fall of next year - his sophomore first semester. He is studying International Relations. Hopes to be in the Honors program next year if grades go well this year.
