They have just notified people of their status for this scholarship. I received it by mail... good luck to all the semi-finalists!

i found out last week that i didnt make it

oh damn it!

=[

owlie, did you win or something?

no i lost...
The rejection postcard, or at least mine, was very generic...

I loved the part when they said, "We appreciate the efforts you put into your application but we found other candidates who are better matched for our scholarship" or something to that effect. I can't remember since I threw mines away, but I was like, Gee, thanks for telling me I suck.

mika08, don't take it so seriously. They get thousands of applications, so the odds of you winning are slim.

I haven't gotten an email! does this mean I'm not a semifinalist?

did all of you guys find out by mail or email?

i'm thinking a postcard in the mail. because mine sounded similar to his.

"We appreciate the efforts you put into your application but we found other candidates who are better matched for our scholarship" - I loved that part on my postcard it was hilarious. It actually made me feel better about losing. everyone that I know who applied were rejected a long time ao.... last person was me on Christmas eve .. so I hope this isnt premature but maybe if you dont here by Jan. 5 or so.. its good news!!

i didnt get it either...

then again i dont like general motors anyways, they make junk cars
and minority scholarships are inherently discriminatory, even though they have the right to have that sort of scholarship.

good luck to all who are semi-finalist

I didn't make it either! lol
The sad part was that they didn't even send my rejection in a sealed envelope. Now my mail man has probably lost respect for me!
Argh, who needs GM anyway?!
Toyota is way better (wink)
