GMAT Vs GRE

I have low GPA from college but i want to go bak to school for more ..
so I need to score hansome points on the exam..
whcih one do u think it is easier...
I personly think GMAT

ps I am not sure i want to go for my master on Econ
or go MBA program....it depands on my test score

gmat is only for mba

Actually, GMAT's are for graduate business schools, which run not only MBA programs, but a variety of other programs, like doctorates in management/busad, specialized non-MBA management degree programs, and so on. The MIT Sloan School of Management, for example, runs not only an MBA program, but also various PhD programs in management science, the Systems Design and Management program (which awards you a Master's of Science in Engineering and Management), the Sloan Fellows program (which awards you either a Master's of Science in Management or an MBA), and the Biomedical Enterprise Program (which awards a Master's of Science in Health Sciences and Technology). All of these programs require the GMAT, even though none of them are MBA programs. Or take the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Stanford GSB runs not only an MBA program, but also various PhD programs in Business Administration, and the Sloan Master's Program that awards a Master's of Science in Management degree. (yeah, I know, it's confusing that Stanford has a Sloan Master's program). All of these programs require the GMAT.

Oh, okay...I thought the GMAT was only for an MBA program. Is the GMAT also required for UC Berkeley's MFE (Masters of Financial Engineering) program?

The Haas MFE will take either the GRE or the GMAT.

<a href="http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/MFE/admissions.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/MFE/admissions.html</a></p>

Same with CMU's Quantitative Finance Program, which is basically Financial Engineerings(btw CMU program is #1 i think).

Would it be better to get an MFE before getting an MBA or after getting an MBA? Or is it beneficial at all to do both?
