Hello all,
I am currently attending JMU, as a Freshman, and although I love the university and all the people in it, I find that I am still missing home much more than I thought I would. So I applied for a transfer into GMU. My current GPA is a 2.56 (which is very low, I know), but my high school GPA was a 3.7 and my SATs were good also (can't remember number right now). As it stands, what are my chances of getting accepted for transfer into GMU? Also, that was just my fall semester GPA, and I'm really working at raising it for this semester, will that likely count in my admission inot GMU?
Thanks!

Call the GMU Admissions office. They can answer these questions for you.

It is going to be very tough. Even though your high school GPA and SAT scores were good, colleges will put more emphasis on your college GPA.

Pup, did you get into GMU? I ask because I am applying as a transfer and wondering w/ the lower GPA too.
