GMU & VCU financial aid packages

Hi, everyone!

I was just recently accepted into GMU as a transfer student and am still waiting to hear back from VCU, but I’m expecting to get in there as well. My choice will be mostly based on which school offers me the best financial aid package as I intend to go to graduate school as well and would like to end up with as little debt as possible. I’m wondering if anyone knows when GMU and VCU will send that kind of information out? I thought I’d get the package info with the acceptance letter but apparently not, and now I’m scared they won’t send that kind of information out until you’ve paid the deposit.

Does anyone know?

You will get a package before you have to send a deposit, I believe both VCU and GMU don’t require you to make a deposit until June. When I applied to transfer schools in VA, I called and was told by multiple schools that they would be sent out after they did freshman financial aid packages, since their deposit deadline is sooner than the transfer deadline. But if you want to be certain, you can call/email both offices.
