go for full time job or internship

Hi, I recently graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in building construction. Junior year, I realized I didnt care for the major, but I wanted to finish my degree. I will be attending Georgia Techs MS in Econ program in the Fall. I can complete the program in one year. I want to become an investment banker or financial analyst. I plan on taking some MBA level investment and finance courses as part of my MS econ degree. I graduate in Spring 2013. Would it be better for me to pursue a summer internship or full time position? I have no job experience related to finance.

I figured, internship would open me up to a higher salary because of the experience. thoughts?

Get experience regardless while your in school. It’ll make the job search that much easier.

If you’re talking about what you should do after graduating next year, a full time job is the way to go. Recruiting starts as soon as you get back to school in August, so be ready for it.

I don’t even know if a company would hire you as an intern if you’ve already graduated; even if one would, it doesn’t make much sense for someone in your situation.
