Go for GWU ED II or wait for GTown RD?

Because I have been deferred from Georgetown which is my top choice, I am posed with a choice. From what I have seen thus far, the acceptance rate for those who apply ED to George Washington, my second choice, is almost double that of the RD rate. I am wondering if I should wait and pass up having a much higher chance and most likely being accepted to George Washington without difficulty through their ED II and take my chances of the ~17% RD acceptance of Georgetown and also have the regular ~33% at GWU or should I rather go for GWU's ED II, but give up my Georgetown App? I feel both schools would be great fits for me, as it's almost necessary for me to go to the DC area. I loved both campuses though I like Georgetown's area a bit more. George Washington's tour was much more enthusiastic and welcoming. What are your opinions?

Reflection
Strengths: SAT IIs, essays
Weaknesses: SAT scores (especially math, which is my weak point), perhaps not enough academic extracurriculars
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Those accepted were much more academically qualified
What would you have done differently?: I suppose study harder for my SATs, though I don't know how much a higher SAT alone would have affected in light of those who were accepted EA

Retake the sat again in January again for sure, a sub 600 score will be extremely hard for both schools to overlook. As to your predicament I don’t know what to tell you only probably with app is math score and its a little weird have all 3 language sats 2, but if you applied to FLL in Gtown with a much unproved math score and you could improve reading too you have a chance at Gtown. I honestly think if you can get math and reading to700 you have a good chance at both school regular decision

If you want to go to georgetown, then don’t apply to GWU Early Decision.

That’s kind of the point of my post ^.^’ I’m asking what is the better choice. Though hoyasaxacc did provide some insight that I might still have a chance at Georgetown if I improve my SATs

@GranMaestro‌ Your SATs are a little low. You can retake them, but the deadline for Regular Decision is January 10 when the next test date is January 24! If you retake the test, hopefully the new scores will be included in your application before it’s reviewed.

It should be there in time, i took sat 2s in January senior year when I applied. Pretty sure it had some impact since those were the only sat 2s I had and they require 2 but recommend 3.

I would just inform them your taking the sat and too again, and maybe rush scores if you want
