Go to UCF or stay in the northeast

So I've been stressing out trying to find my dream school and time is running out quick. Only yesterday did I stumble on UCF and it looks perfect however there are two BIG stress issues that I'm trying to think through.

Cost of plane flights

National Recognition

National recognition is the bigger issue here considering I would have a good chance in getting into schools like University of Vermont and Umass Amherst which are both highly ranked and recognized, but at the same time both are missing key social qualities that I'm looking for. Also, after getting a bachelors degree I would plan on moving back to Boston in sight of the medical career, would UCF look good to employers?

Reasons UCF looks great:

Tuition is relatively low for out of state
Weather is perfect (I hate the winter here, it alters my mood negatively)
Right by a large city (my main issue with UVM and Umass Amherst, along with other schools)
Very liberal Social Environment
Large but not too sports crazy (I'm not a fan of sports)
Has a great recreation facility (Working out is very important to me)

So what do you guys think? I was also viewing USF but I thought UCF was more nationally recognized.

I currently go to CC in the central florida area. UCF class population is big let me warn you. Why? well because about all the big CC’s here have articulation with ucf and that just jacks up the population. I have some really close friends at ucf who took the same classes as me and i have better grades. Recognition really depends on your major, their strong subjects are in science and technology , but i mean they dont rank with Harvard, Stanford, Uni.Illinois. Many people would say that UCF is a party school, which it is. Ucf is a “drinking school with a football problem” they do like their sports. I mean its kind of the opposite with me and you actually i would rather study up north with prominent schools.

Best of Luck
