Goals

<p>-Have a point in my life where I’m literally putting more than .01% of my effort in something other than pokemon, eating, and sleeping.</p>

<p>pretty ambitious goals there…</p>

<p>I’d love to know I won the Darwin Award.</p>

<p>Goals: </p>

<ol>
<li>Get National AP Scholar by the end of junior year. </li>
<li>Finish junior year with a 4.0 UW so that my cumulative UW GPA from grades 9-11 will be a 3.9. </li>
<li>Take the AMC 12 and qualify for AIME. </li>
<li>TASP (maybe?)</li>
<li>Get at least a 2250 on the SAT. </li>
<li>Get scores within the range of 750-800 on all 3 of my SAT subject tests.</li>
<li>READ, READ, READ. </li>
<li>Self-study German. </li>
<li>Submit my writing to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. </li>
<li>Become editor-in-chief of my school’s literary magazine. </li>
<li>Win some forensics awards. </li>
<li>Win some county-wide music awards.</li>
</ol>

<p>Fairly ambitious, I think. But it’s still achievable…</p>

<p>-Write a book of essays.
-Get published in the New Yorker.
-Backpack around Europe for a year.
-Live in a city.
-Learn French, Arabic, Spanish, and Mandarin fluently.
-Read a book a day for a summer.
-Meet someone on a bus.
-Sail around the Caribbean with friends.
-Have four kids and a perfectly adorable house.
-Quit piano.
-Go to law school.
-Win an eating contest.</p>

<p>1) Never listen to people who tell me I should go to bed earlier, wake up earlier, etc.
2) Never listen to people who tell me I should stop taking naps.
3) Tell others to shut up more often, when deserved o’course.
4) Improve typing proficiency from 110wpm to 135wpm yeaaah.</p>

<p>Physical
Reach my full potential vertical jump.
Be able to block 6-foot-tall Amazons in volleyball.
Perfect my setting technique.
Continue playing volleyball past high school and college.
Never, ever run again, and instead explore various forms of exercise such as yoga, swimming, plyometrics, etc.
Avoid skin cancer for my entire life.
Never, ever, ever smoke cigarettes.</p>

<p>Education
Graduate from boarding school.
Enter either a prestigious state university or art school, preferably in NYC or Boston.
Graduate from college with a degree in Fine Arts/Illustration/something else?.
Enter a doctorate program.
Study/get a PhD in Human Behavior and Culture Through Art. (Basically, how art has affected the past and present social behavior and society of humans, and how this is applicable in therapy).</p>

<p>Career
After college, become a freelance artist/illustrator.
After PhD, become an art therapist.
After several years in my field, attempt to become a college professor.
Publish textbook/article/journal(s) in my field.
Retire at a healthy age with plenty of career accomplishments.</p>

<p>Personal
Get married and have children at some point.
Be financially stable enough to care for my children so that they don’t have to pay a cent for their education (boarding school? and college).
Come to terms with myself and my potential need for therapy.
Publish a novel.
Put my non-commissioned artwork in a gallery of my own.
Sell my non-commissioned artwork for money.
Lose my dependency on validation of my worth from others.
Travel to Tokyo, Hong Kong, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Rome, and Beijing.
Live in London for a number of years, possibly doing my PhD there.</p>

  • bench 2x my weight
  • break 5min for mile</p>

  • get semi-asian grades next year
  • learn korean
  • master the way of the G</p>

  • live in a house
  • have multiple wives (yes i know im horrible)
  • be somewhat rich
  • create my own country (Person’s Republic of Zala)
  • be dictator of my country
  • build a giant robot to keep enforce laws in my country
  • build another giant robot to make sure the first robot do no go crazy and kill everyone</p>

-Become a great chemical engineer
-Marry at the right time and have a good family
-Stay in shape
-Become an executive at an engineering company
-Become a millionaire, but not corrupted
-Find a stimulating hobby</p>

<p>Short Term
-Appear on the newspaper for Cross Country.
-Stay in shape
-Hack the school computers again
-Get over 2200 on the SAT
-Get 5’s on at least 5 AP’s
-Learn to Surf and play the Guitar
-Become Valedictiorian at my school</p>

<p>Long-Term
-Build a school in Kenya
-Become an uncorrupted Billionaire
-Push for social and education policy changes to increase minority achievement
-Meet Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela
-Get my PhD from a top Grad school
-Speak Swahili, French and Spanish fluently.
-Travel the world
-Bee Happy, Bee Healthy.</p>
