Life Goals, can be as CRAZY as you want...

We are in HS, it is OK if our plans are big!

1) Make a fortune 500 company (without necessarily becoming a billionaire, I could sell the idea, then if it grows I could say I founded a Fortune 500 Company

2) Produce a movie (not a giant, 20 million (or 100m) movie that you see spamming the ads, I have always wanted to make a trilogy of humanitarian movies)

3) Nobel Peace Prize (for the humanitarian movies)

Current Goal (minor:)
-Found an App Company

Say it is giant for one life, a dream for a reason!

If you are serious about doing stuff with programming please do pm me!

@balledtoohard‌ No, we actually found a real, cheap programmer who can code quickly

1) Open my own gymnastics club and coach an Olympian.
2) Have a book published.
3) Be rich enough for one of those black AmEx cards. (Kidding, sort of, but I do want to have a lot of money so I can help people.)
4) Be inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame because I’m a good coach.
5) Do stuff for narcolepsy (not very specific).

A book would be super cool
(and I am changing my #3 to any Nobel Prize)

Biggest Life Goal: Lead an effort to consolidate school districts on Long Island. (and be successful, duh)

I’d also love to be a politician.

I wanna be the very best,
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test,
To train them is my cause
Gotta catch 'em all…

@ninjaking444 you’d be ok with just any nobel prize? Stop limiting yourself.

Be a cinematographer
Become an actor
Design a premium article website with a loyal readers. I love writing and designing but I can’t sit down and learn HTML and CSS. (If you code elegantly and want to design a website for free contact me :stuck_out_tongue: )

More realistic goals:
Get a psychology and sociology degree. Become an advertising magnate and travel the world for business junctures. Observe the neurological impetus for human behavior and apply this to physical and digital layouts
+bonus points if I also do something in the medical field. use the way we think to shape and improve relations, procedures, buildings, patient equipment.
+maybe dermatology too

as you can see, I haven’t made up my mind yet :(

Publish a successful series of Young Adult books and have them be franchised into movies, etc. has always been my dream from a young age. Despite wanting to major in other fields, I’ve always loved English.

Win the television show Survivor (Cheesy, I know)

Become a high level worker in a Fortune 500 company and be on the cover of Black Enterprise.

Live to eat.

:)

I love the idea of this thread.

I feel like everyone wants to write a book (so do I). Obviously it will become a best seller and then I will get numerous movie deals. This will happen all while I’m in college.

I’d love to act in a movie someday, even if it’s just a small cameo.

Honestly I just want to be rich so I can volunteer my whole life without having the devil on my shoulder tell me that I could have been swimming in millions. I have this weird combination of loving luxury but also loving volunteering, and it seems like 90% of the time you have to give

@sumobats IKR, I want to make a difference, and money will help insanely!

@HeisAidanD‌ I have always wanted to be on The Amazing Race, good luck

This is my favorite thread, WE SHOULD BE BOLD!

(Ok ok ok, I really don’t believe in jinxing but I just couldn’t keep Physics professor at some universities up without feeling weird. That is pretty much my primary goal).
Contribute to search for Theory of Everything.
Backpack Europe with very little money.
Backpack Europe again after that with a ton of money.
Live in London for a bit.
Fly around Europe, not really backpacking.
Go to Antarctica and do research.
Get really skilled in Number Theory.
Alternative could be Formula One driver.
Go into space as a tourist.
Buy whatever the equivalent of a Tesla Model S is when I am an adult.
Own an Irish restaurant.
Write a book about Physics for kids, one about psychology, and an autobiography.
Start a YouTube channel and be just like John or Hank Green.

Hmm…get a PhD in engineering, work at a firm, research for a potentially infinite power source with a group and start up something there, realize work has potential and somehow takes control of the “company” and abandon group, find an infinite power source and somehow implement it to easily power the world, save the world, make fortune 500 and make trillions, live in a huge mansion all by myself with butlers, be respected in the professional field, lobby congress (with campaign money) for education and space exploration, and why the heck not- buy Nintendo. And in that order…

To marry Ed Sheeran

To be best friends with Kevin Spacey and Anna Wintour

To work with Stephen Hawking

To occasionally gossip over tea with Michio Kaku

@caffeinemolecule that’d be so EPIC

Personally, unlocking the mysteries of spacetime and exploring new worlds would do it for me.

To become a famous philosopher and revolutionize how we think of the world. Simply: Determinism, Relativity, Subjectivity, and dynamic systems.

And this but also debates.

I would like to travel the world and see all of the beautiful sights it has to offer.

I want to be able to make good money by doing something that I truly love and that helps people better their lives in some way, shape, or form.

I’ve always wanted to go on the show Big Brother. I think it would be a really fun experience and I would love to do it.

At some point in my younger years, I think I want to just find a job somewhere I’ve never been and just go there. I think it would be an interesting experience to pick up your life and just move somewhere where you don’t really know anyone.
