So, what does everyone here want to accomplish? I was taking a walk just now and thought of making a short list of a few of my tangible semi-long term goals, and imagined then that it would make for a good thread topic. So, for me:

Physical Goals
Complete a Triple Crown
Compete in and do well in a Triathlon and a 100K
Finish a race longer than a 100k
Explore 6 continents extensively on foot, and visit the 7th (Antarctica) by whatever means possible, maybe do the 7 summits
Follow in the footsteps of Basho
Travel everywhere (were I to list out everything I wanted to see, I'd break the character limit -- suffice to say, I intend to spend a few years after I graduate college vagabonding across the globe)
Become proficient at parkour
Master a pragmatic self-defence oriented fighting style (Krav Maga, Sambo, MCMAP, Pankration, etc; maybe balance it out with a bit more of Muay Thai or whatever)
Free climb a 5.10 with ease
Learn to skydive, hangglide, paraglide, sailplane (ie learn to pilot a small, recreational, motorized aircraft), hot air ballon, and surf
Achieve immortality (not transhumanist waffle, not figuratively, but actually. If not this, then at least break 100)

Intellectual Goals
Build a functional computer from scratch (as in, actually from scratch -- not from assembling pre-made parts)
Make my own fusor
Learn five languages to fluency (halfway there! Still have yet to perfect my Spanish and learn German and either Chinese or Japanese)
Earn a doctorate in biology
Perform groundbreaking biological research
Discover new species
Get published in a scientific journal (a placeholder for the above 2 -- this will ensure that I will have done *something *of merit [I don't actually care so much about getting published, truth be told])
Write an interesting book (currently thinking of something easy, like a travelogue for the scientifically inclined)
Destroy my current convictions

Emotional Goals
Build and maintain intimate, lifelong relationships with friends
Find a long-term romantic partner willing to pursue all the above with me, whose very presence brings joy to my... limbic system (the heart pumps blood!)

Ok, well, that's all I want to think of for now, but I certainly have a huge number more. Keep your responses firmly grounded, if you may, in the concrete -- no putting "learn new things" or "live in the moment" (and yes, I broke this rule once or twice. No cookies for me). I'm interested in seeing what people on here want to do.
