Going Pre-Med at SEAS?

Hey everyone,
I'm deciding between applying ED to CC and SEAS. My main concern is that if I apply to SEAS, will it be difficult to get into medical school? It seems with all their requirements, it's difficult to finish up the requirements for medical school. If I got into SEAS, I would most like go BME. What is the real deal? Is it that difficult to try to apply to medical school from Fu?

Here are my stats (could I get into CC ED with these stats?):

Hi,

Disclaimer-- I'm prefrosh but have 2 friends who did BME at SEAS and 2 who did premed at the college (one was actually a econ major). Of the two that graduated, one is going to Columbia Medical School and the other one Penn, both great programs. Frankly though, while the one in BME probably did learn more material than the one in the College, he had to work MUCH, MUCH harder. BME, and SEAS' GPA's are much lower than the Colleges', and I'm not sure it's worth the difference.

Most seas kids that dont want to kill themselves while doing premed will do IEOR, not BME or ChemE (tho i do know plenty of both that are planning on premed)

and premed req's arent hard to do. you're already req'd to take calc, chem, and physics. both cheme and bme need orgo so the only thing u need to fit in is bio
