The online classes are the transfer credits, the reason I want to take them online is because I will not be able to drive to college until im 17 (im starting college at 16) and I wouldn't want to be a bother to my mother. So I just figured I would take the classes online. My concern is that the online classes are frowned upon even though I would be going to a brick and mortar school. I don't want to hurt my chances at medical school so would I be better off just getting a ride there everyday? Or should I take it online? And do online classes look bad even if they are from a legit CC?

If you’re serious about possible med school, you want to be sure to take your pre-reqs at the brick & mortar college. Not CC, not online.

As for eventual transfer, why don’t you contact a few of the target colleges down the line and see what they say about your stated plans? Good luck

@T26E4 thanks for the answer! I will probably do brick and mortar. Unfortunately I really don’t have a choice about CC (minimizing debt and the GED excludes me from selection to targets without starting at cc then transfering) but I probably won’t do online cc.
