Hi guys.
This is my first time posting here.
I'm hoping to go to college in the Fall, but I haven't decided where yet.
I don't have a dorm requirement so I'm looking for off-campus housing.
My question is, what's the best way to decide where to live off-campus?
Finding some place nice and a good price will affect my decision making.

Does your college have an off-campus housing office? If so, you should start there. The people in that office can give you some good house-hunting tips.

yes, that’s right. Affordability will sort of count in my decision. I just wondered if there was a way to sort of find this information. Craigslist is a good idea. There doesn’t seem to be much information about off-campus housing on most of the university sites I’ve checked.
Your advice is very much appreciated.

Assuming you are going to visit the colleges you end up applying to, look at the bulletin boards in the student center to see if housing or requests for roomates are posted. Pick up the local paper for each town and look through their classified ads.
