When looking at setting up a MacBook, is there a reason to choose Outlook mail versus Apple Mail?
I had Adobe Pro on my PC, on CD, not a subscription. Is there a good similar freebie app which allows the typewriter function so you can fill in forms?
Any other tips for questions I would not even know to ask?
You would probably be happier with Outlook. I use Mac Mail but sometimes it has issues syncing gmail across devices. My main email is a mac email but I use my business email on Mac Mail too. It’s an Outlook email and works fine. You can use Preview on Mac for PDF but there other free alternatives that work great. Preview can be a little more labor intensive for forms compared to what you are used to. I use Acrobat Pro most of the time. The new MBP’s are beasts!
If you are an iPhone user the Keychain for passwords is fantastic! Remembers and syncs them on al devices.
I am a Mac user or all apple products. I find myself using Gmail web more instead of outlook. On their webmail I can have my emails categorized by Primary, Social and Promotions. I only check my Primary and I could quickly delete Social and Promotions by selecting all.
For many years I used Outlock on Windows PCs. I’ve since switched to using a Gmail id. It has seemed to work well on Windows, Chromebook and Apple (iphone, ipad, Macbook).
