The ferry is pretty awesome. NYC is pretty awesome.

The general rule of thumb with NYC is that most outsiders are walking around with some bastardized, Abraham Beame, “Mean Streets” era version of NYC replaying in their heads. I know this from first hand knowledge after working as a concierge in Manhattan. My guests were so out of touch with the NYC of today that they seriously wondered if they were safe walking in Time Square at night. You’re about as safe in TS as you would be in Disney World!

And don’t even get me started on the massive ignorance regarding the outer boroughs…

Glad you’ve discovered that my town isn’t anywhere near worthy of the anxiety, and fear, that’s often associated with it. Hope you’re having an extraordinary time in “the city”!

Congrats Fredikins!! The Met sounds like a great idea for tomorrow!!

It was and then I walked to the museum of natural history and after that I saw the Blues for Smoke exhibit at The Whitney which was aaamazing. I leave tomorrow which blows but I had such a great time. Well, I’m having one. I’ll probably go to the highline tomorrow and yeah, I’m pretty much in love with NYC.

And Times Square was…annoying haha but I had to see it.
