Would I still benefit from going to SLO if I’m likely not going to work right out of college, because I believe Cal Poly schools are focusing more on that than research. I hopefully will be able to get into a graduate school and specialize in something for Biology, and I don’t really have any other plans as of now. If not research, what should I pursue after undergraduate at SLO?
Quite a few Bio graduates go onto post-secondary programs. You can look up what and where in the link below. Just remember, most school’s surveys like this are incomplete.
As for what you should pursue, only you can answer that. If you’re looking for ideas a simple “what can I do with a biology degree?” is a good place to start.
