What would be the best finance schools for a student with fairly good grades? I doubt I have a shot at an Ivy League, but what are some other schools with great Finance programs? I have around an A- average, play sports (JV), and a part of a few clubs.

NYU Stern, UMichigan, CMU, UVA.

Also: Notre Dame, Emory, Villanova... there are many.

Look into Bentley College. They started as a training schools for finance and accounting. They have one of the best trading rooms in the country.

I've also heard good things about Bentley. My cousin's girlfriend works at Morgan Stanley as an analyst, and she described it as a business version of the small liberal arts college

I've visited Bentley and I really liked it. The technology is amazing with the trading room. Is the recruiting as heavy as they say?

Depends on what recruiting you mean. Bentley is not an elite job target.

Bentley is a good combination of a finance oriented school with a LAC,but it doesn't have the cache of Penn or NYU.

How about Indiana University? Does it have a solid business program?

Tim yes, but it doens't have the cache of Penn or NYU or CMU.

well I like Baruch, Bing, Stony, Albany their all good business schools.

Indiana is about #8 in the nation for finance (I know it's top ten, but not 100% it's 8, might be 7 or 9).

Ahhh nice, I would try Notre Dame but I have no shot there. :P
