Business at these schools

I am currently attending Purdue University. After graduation, I want to go back to new York City for work. However, I am not sure whether I should transfer out of Purdue. After looking through their career website, I realize that most of the student who graduates end up working in the mid-west ( Chicago, Indiana, Ohio). I am deciding to transfer to Bentley College for business. Do you think that would be a good idea? How would guys compare Purdue's business program with Bentleys?
Right now I am majoring in Accounting/Finance. So what do you guys think?

Can someone please give me some advice

Krannert specializes in management of manufacturing.....what is your major at Kranner? Bentley has a nice trading room program and is well connected for internships.

Right now i'm majoring in accounting

anymore opinions?????????????

Accounting? You want to get into Big Four with ease? Bentley without a doubt. Bentley is well regarded in the NorthEast region. They have a Corporate Accounting and Finance major.

some banks are actually starting to visit purdue for their trading groups, however it is still minimal. But either way, chances are obviously more likely that Bentley will bring you closer to NYC, so choose bentley

I'd think any major accting firm would be happy to place you in NYC. It's not that easy to recruit accts to NYC due to the high COL. You can live well in Chicago on an accts salary and not very well in NYC.

Great point, we just dont know his future career plans

We have evaluated Bentley from a grad student's perspective. They have outstanding programs, in my opinion, in both accounting and finance related areas. Bentley even has what they call an "Acelab," which contains numerous software that is widely used in business. This gives their graduates a real technological edge.

They are highly regarded by both industry and other educational institutions and have a great placement percentage. Also, being near Boston, which is a 20 minute drive, doesn't hurt.

My adive is to visit the school. I think that you will like it very much.

I think all other things being equal, I would prefer to go through life with a Purdue diploma.

boston > west lafayette

Bigtime campus>>>>some place most people never heard of. You don't need a big city to have fun in college. Most things cost too much anyway--like gettting an apartment.

large student body > small, but you cant beat boston, along with seattle, i see it as one of the greatest cities
