Good college for Economics major w/ pre-med classes

I can't decide whether to pursue a career is economics or medicine so I decided to go for a major in economics along with pre-med classes. I don't know how burdensome this will be, can anyone give me a clue?

If it's not ridiculously tough, what colleges fit? I'm an international student so I'm not getting any financial aid. I got into Miami, Rochester, Stony Brook, and Pittsburgh. Miami and Rochester didn't offer as much scholarship money as I had hoped so I'm stuck between Pittsburgh and Stony Brook. I've also considered PennState.

So Pittsburgh vs SB (vs PennState).

Just out of curiosity, for grad-school economics, do I need to have majored in economics in undergrad or, like medicine, there's a collection of required subjects. To clarify, I'm trying to find out if to continue education in economics in grad-school, is economics the only subject I need to study in undergrad?

Also, I want to be able to do at least some research in my undergrad years. Can I research in science fields if I'm majoring in economics?
Thanks!

I know most of you guys care about top tier schools but someone’s bound to have some knowledge about these colleges.

International student to a US medical school is an extremely difficult admission bar. US medical schools are also very expensive. You may want to ask about it on the pre-med forum.

For PhD programs in economics, you want a school with good math and statistics offerings, and preferably more math intensive intermediate economics and econometrics courses.
