<p>I'm starting to research colleges and I'm having a hard time finding out what colleges are good for biology and what colleges have ore specific major options such as Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Zoology etc. I don't even know where to start looking. Ideally I would love to go to a medium sized school somewhere in the pacific northwest (California, Oregon, Washington, even British Columbia), but that is not by any means set in stone. What really matters is finding a school with a strong background in biology-type majors and some flexibility. I get good grades, and though I havent taken the SAT yet (I am an incoming junior and plan on taking it this fall or winter), my PSAT scores predict around a 2000 and my PLAN test (pre ACT) predicts a 33 composite score.</p>
<p>Most college search engines, including College Confidential, include a search for majors. You should be able to come up with a list of colleges based on major, size, and location and then start looking from there.</p>
