Good Colleges to Go to for Computer Science Based on My Stats

I’m currently a junior high school going on to senior near next school year. I’m also planning on majoring in Computer Science in college. I was wondering what colleges you would recommend based on my current stats.

Unweighted GPA: 3.31(-'s and +'s), 3.33(solid grades w/o -'s and +'s), and 3.4(school’s gpa calculation w/ pe)
Weighted GPA: 3.7(-'s and +'s) and 3.75 (solid grades, only 10th and 11th)
UC GPA(capped/weighted):3.67
SAT: 1210, one-sitting, first time/ Math: 590, CR:620(I retook the sat in June and I’m expecting above a 1300. Most likely the math will drastically improve since I wasn’t really comfortable when taking the sat for the first time. I did, however, get a score of 660/760 for math on the PSAT so I was quite surprised that my score was so low on the sat. As well as when taking practice sats my average scores were in the high 1300’s.)

AP Classes Taken:
AP World History
AP US History
AP Calculus AB
AP Language and Composition
AP Computer Science Principles

Senior year AP classes:
AP Physics 2
AP Government
AP Statistics
AP Environmental Science(if there is enough space)
AP Literature
(maybe)
AP Computer Science A(if I don’t get into APES)

I’m currently considering these colleges: Santa Clara University, University of San Francisco, University of San Diego, Purdue, Cal Poly SLO, University of Washington, New York University, San Jose State University(Software Engineering), all UC’s except Merced, and maybe some other csu’s.

Please tell me what you think. I would like to know which colleges you believe I could get into based on my college choices and other colleges. I prefer staying in California, but honestly if I could get into a good school elsewhere I wouldn’t be opposed to it. It is shown that I will be doing software engineering at SJSU, but that is because Computer Science is very impacted and SE was a safer option since I didn’t really meet up to the EI.

Other Info:
Ethnicity: African-American/White
Location: San Jose, California
Gender: Female

If you want to know any other information that will help you give a better opinion please ask. I am open to share more if needed.

I assume you’ve got no budget constraints.
Here are my guesses:
Santa Clara University - probably not
University of San Francisco - probably
University of San Diego - probably ,
Purdue- probably
Cal Poly SLO - really unlikely
University of Washington - really unlikely
New York University - i have no idea
San Jose State University(Software Engineering), - almost certainly.
UC’s Your best shot is Riverside and Merced, the rest are very unlikely.
I’d add SDSU and CSULB CP Pomona and Loyola Marymount. You may want to look at Sonoma and Chico - they offer a pretty unique educational experience.

You didn’t ask but, i’d strongly suggest you back off the AP count in your Sr year. More than 2 is very difficult to manage for most people. There are lots of distractions Sr year and you will be pulling your hair out with that workload. You don’t want to have your admission to your dream school yanked because you get a D in one or more of those classes. The ‘course rigor’ won’t make a difference to the schools that are currently likely to admit you. Please heed this warning.

Good luck

CS is ultra competitive for all applicants at the top CSU’s and UC’s.
Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79:

UCB: 2%- High Reach
UCLA: 3%-High Reach
UCSD: 6%- High Reach
UCD: 15% -Reach
UCSB: 14%- Reach
UCI: 13%- Reach
UCSC: 59%- Low Reach
UCR: 78%- High Match -Match
UCM: 92%- Match

SLO-High Reach
SJSU-Reach
USD- Low Reach
USF- High Match
SCU- Reach

Add CSU Fullerton, Sac State, SFSU as possible Match schools. A UC GPA below 4.0 and SAT below 1300 will be tough for any UC’s other than Merced.
SDSU and CSULB will be a tough admits unless local. You have too many Reach schools and no safeties. I would re-evaluate your list and drop several of the UC’s and UW.
