Good computer science colleges with good need based aid for out of state

<p>I've heard from many that UVA and UNC both offer great need based aid for out of staters such as myself (I'm in FL)
Pretty sure I'll try applying to em</p>

<p>Any other schools with pretty good comp. science rank offer good aid? Otherwise I'll probably aim for UF</p>

<p>No other public Us promise to meet need. UMich offers “good” need based aid and tries to meet OOS need. Anyone who is competitive for UVA and UNC can also look at schools that offer great merit aid like U Alabama or private Us like Case Western which offer good merit aid.</p>

<p>Don’t worry about that. Not that many schools have an undergrad CS rank, yet they still have very good CS programs. There are well over a 100 (probably over 200) schools in the US that have very good CS programs.</p>

<p>You can look to see if the programs are ABET accredited.</p>

<p>How much aid do you need?</p>

<p>Are you from Florida? Are you considering UF and FSU? Do you qualify for BF?</p>
