Have massive upward trends 1150 on sat. Decent ec’s. Are schools like Iona, Manhattan, baruch, Wyoming, Montana, quinnipiac, fairleigh dickinson and Marist likely options and what other options do I have?
Bryant University.
Any other suggestions and are the schools I’m looking at and mentioned realistic.
As far as other options, Temple University has both a good comp sci program and strong business school. Your stats are on the lower side for them though, putting you around the 25th percentile. But if you get your SAT score up, that should help your chances of getting in. You can also apply “test optional” and not submit your SAT scores, but I am not sure with your grades that would be beneficial since their average GPA admit is a 3.5 which would be between a B+ and A-.
I will also add out of state tuition at Temple is fairly high for a state school. But it’s a school that meets your request of strong comp sci and business and one you could possibly get into.
I don’t know anything about the schools you mentioned so can’t help you out there, sorry.
Does anyone know anything about the schools I mentioned and if I’m a likely candidate. Thank you.
Cost constraints?
As far as money I can afford a lot probably up to the 35-40 net price range.
I can afford probably up to 30000 net price but the cheaper the better.
I meant 30000
Quinnipiac’s unlikely to be in your budget. Maybe Clarkson?
You’ve made several other posts on this topic in the last few months. Nobody can realistically chance a student who has 2 more years of high school. There’s just so much info. we don’t have yet. You can check the websites of the schools you’re interested in to see the test scores and GPAs of admitted students to get an idea what you need to aim for, but the advice from your GC and other posters to get to know the SUNYs really well is good too.
