Good distribution of schools?

<p>I have a rough list of the schools that I want to apply to but I'm not sure if I have a good amount of safeties/matches/reaches</p>

<p>White female, competitive private school in NJ
SATs: best combination- 740V 680M 710W = 2130
one sitting- 710V 680M 710W = 2100
will retake in October^
Bio E: 650 freshman yr
USH and Lit results pending</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7
School doesnt rank</p>

<p>ECs: 4 yrs Varsity XC & captain
4 yrs Varsity Swimming & captain
Year round swimming 8 or so years 21+ hrs p/w
2 yrs JV softball 1 yr Varsity
will be National Merit Commended
DONT want to swim in college</p>

<p>List:
Bucknell
Colgate
W&L
U Richmond
Dickinson
Muhlenberg
Lafayette or Lehigh
Villanova or Loyola MD
Hamilton
Trinity</p>

<p>Do you think I have a chance for merit aid at a few of the schools?</p>

<p>I think you have a very good list. Doln't know much about merit aid, but I would think you'd have a good chance for it at Dickinson, Muhlenberg, and Lafayette.</p>

<p>Might want to apply to TCNJ or Rutgers as safeties and Dartmouth, Williams, Middlebury as additional reaches.</p>
