good enough Junior courseload?

AP Chemistry

AP Spanish Lang

AP Environmental Science

AP Calculus BC

English 3 Honors (no ap)

Track

should i do apes or statistics? which one would seem more challenging and impressive?

I’d just stick with APES. You can do AP Stats senior year.

Wow, this is above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen. This is definitely a good, (and i mean really good) junior schedule. You will have more than enough to do, especially with Spanish and getting that devilishly hard speaking part down. I’ll be in AP Chem also, and am quite excited about it. BC has got to be fun, I wish I was in even AB but i didn’t double my sophmore year, so am resorted to taking precalculus :frowning:

And about that choice, basically it doesn’t matter, choose whichever one means most to you and your major, that’s what it comes down to. Anyway good luck! All 5’s!

APES seems to be the easier of the two, for sure. i’d stick with APES. Stats would be pushing into the realm of too much work and too much stuff to memorize.

pretty challenging courseload, even without Stats. i had the choice to take stats next year but i had to drop it for Chinese III :stuck_out_tongue: oh well. always next year!

Well I go to a really small high school in the northwestern part of Illinois where we only have 3 AP classes (AB Calc, Studio Art, and Chemistry) and each class barely breaks 100 kids. So a typical “good” senior schedule would look something like:

1)English Composition IV
2)Anatomy/Physiology
3)AP Calculus
4)AP Chemistry
5)Spanish/French IV
6)Pe (required)
7)Physics II
8)Elective of some sort usually Psychology or Sociology

So to see a junior take 4 or 5 or more AP classes in one year, especially BC, is really something to see where I come from.

You don’t need to take a handful of AP classes for your schedule to be considered any better than anyone elses.

BC isn’t that big of a deal, the test isn’t tough from what i’ve heard, and it’s not TOO much extra work when compared to AB
