applying early D to Vassar
*Alumni-Vassar
Major: Double Major- Drama and Biology(premed)

have you taken the SATs yet? It’s really hard to give you an idea without scores. I would say that your course selection/grades and ec’s are outstanding and will make you competitive for Vassar but again it’s all going to come down to your scores.

nastynate, its hard to give an idea without scores because all CC constitutes is a score indicator. People with 2400’s, 2.0’s and no ecs get better chances than people with 1900’s, 3.9’s and a good abundance of ec’s

chances are, imo, a joke online

I agree to an extent but it can give people an idea if they even stand a chance. For the OP I would say if they have a 2000+ they might have a shot of getting in, and if they have below that then they might want to reconsider their choices.

I do agree though that overall chance threads are a joke.

my bad, i forgot vassar was way up there on usnwr rankings. this kid is gonna have to be pretty competitive to get in, but he looks good. acting in legoland is one of the most unique ecs ive ever seen, and all of his ecs have a central theme (acting/performing/debate).

high sats can give him a good shot but overall we arn’t the adcoms. its ultimately up to them. they could let in a pothead if they so choose and reject an oxford-quality applicant.

in a nutshell, yes it is good enough uptil now. Focus on the SAT’s and you’ll have a shot/
