What are good extracurriculars for engineering? I'm an electrical engineering major at a community college and don't have an relevant EC's for engineering. My school does not have an engineering club or anything like that. What do you guys recommend? I feel like I need to have relevant engineering EC's for when I apply to UC's, but i'm not sure where to look for information.

Don’t do clubs. If you have any previous volunteer work, mention that but don’t stress about it. The only EC’s for engineering majors worth considering are internships. Get as many internships as possible but being that you’re at a CC, it’ll be significantly harder than someone who is already at a UC (usually the case).

UC’s care much (much) more on your academic standings than any EC. Don’t waste your time with EC’s (unless internship) and spend that time studying.

The above is true. Try to get internships if you can, that would be the best. However, campus clubs aren’t a bad alternative. Check out this blog for more info.

for engineering majors, getting good grades in major courses are much much important than having good EC. but try some internship if u can. it will help you when you write your personal statement for the first prompt. i didnt have any experience in my major, AE, so ended up writing my physics lab experience.
