My sophomore was very interested in Browns possible summer HS class in gaming theory. Are there any other summer classes or programs in this area? Thank you!
Carnegie Mellon has a six-week summer program for rising HS juniors and seniors, called National High School Game Academy. It sounds pretty intense and amazing. It’s based on their masters program for entertainment technology.
One of my kids took game theory at CTY and loved it.
D22 also took Game Theory at CTY and enjoyed it. But students need to qualify for CTY, and age out at 16.
(Fwiw, Game Design is very different than Game Theory.)
Ha! Of course you’re right. I’m very caught up in my own lens right now, sorry about that!
