Good GPA

Hey i was just wondering if anybody could tell me if i should be worried. I want to apply to NYU for fall 09. but im scared i wont get in. My freshman gpa was a 3.66. but im worried that my first semester of my sophomore year im only getting a 3.3-3.5 and it will drop my gpa down. So should i be worried.

if you go to community college...yes

NO i go to a private 4 year college.

I believe the average gpa is around 3.75. What are your other stats/extracurriculars? What school are you applying to?

I volunteered at a homeless shelter. I also have a after school job. I probably going to apply to PSU and UW-madison. But i always wanted go to NYU. I'm scared now. Do you think NYU will look at semester gpa's or overall gpa

They look at the overall GPA, but they also look at the semesters to look for an upward trend.

Just try your best to bring it up. Rock your finals.

Im hoping to rock my finals. Im already nervous.

which school within NYU are you applying to?

I'm applying to Gallatins
