How good do you have to be in math to be in a engineering major? I am interested in Industrial Engineering and i am not sure about my skills and capabilities in math yet.

You have to be pretty good. Industrial engineering utilizes a lot of multivariable calculus (for optimization) as well as probability and statistics. It's not nearly as intense as say, an applied mathematics major, but math had better be one of your strong subjects.

average is enough. you will take some lower division math courses at college.
