My D23 recently took Eckerd off her list due to some negative stuff she found on Tik Tok. I definitely have mixed feelings on the use of Tik Tok as a primary source of information (yeah, I’m old), but c’est la vie. Anyway, in my search for other information, I found the Eckerd student-run newspaper, which does a nice job of highlighting the good (planned renovations including accessibility improvements) with the bad (mold, housing shortages, fights).
This may provide a good resource for parents and students interested for getting more of a feel for the college. The newspaper is very well done IMO.
