On behave of those Columbia ED applicants that didn’t get the results we wanted, I want to wish you all good luck. I hope it goes your way, and if not I hope you handle it well. Life does go on. See you guys around here seeing as I’m going to be working on my Penn app in the next few weeks. Everything will work out. Good luck getting some sleep. Hope you guys get more acceptances than the Columbia board had.

Thanks, dar! You really sound like an A+ person, and I'm sure whatever school you go to will be lucky to have you.

Awww. I feel so bad for you guys. Well, life goes on. I am sure ten or twenty years later, we will look back and see that this decision (acceptance, deferral, rejection) was the right one...we will be happy no matter the outcome. Good luck on that Penn app Daria (that show rocked, btw).

Thanx, daria. Don't sweat it that u got deferred/rejected... the columbia admissions people can rest assured knowing that they reject students who will become more successful than any admissions official ever was or will be. I'm sure you'll be successful and have a lot of fun at whatever school you end up attending in the fall. Good luck on ur other apps.

haha, that's kind of funny actually... I will be more successful than the people that decided to defer me. I mean, I'm going to be a doctor, making much more money than some silly person who wants to spend their life torturing children.
Man college is stressful. Well I guess life in general is stressful. How much do I want to be back in kindergarden right now.
