For all of you who applied, a hearty and well deserved congratulations. Whether you are accepted, deferred, or rejected, remember it is far more important what you do at an institution than the name of that institution. Do not let today define you as you are all far more than the decisions you will receive. To all those who do come to yale next year, welcome to the yale family. You are all an amazing bunch of students and I would be happy to welcome any and all of you to our community. Best of Luck Today

i just joined cc but i've been lurking around here for awhile, especially the past few days as anxiety hit about yale ea. just from reading the threads in this forum the past few days, you all seem like such a great group people and i really wish i had joined cc earlier so i actually could have gotten to know some of you. i just wanted to throw that out there and tell you that you all seem like lovely people who would make a great yale 2010 community! good luck, everyone!

sabrina, I am an ex-lurker as well! I have personally mastered the art of reading threads without replying. Now I have switched to the other extreme and add my .02 to about every discussion. Isn't it ironic.

and yes. Truly-honestly-from-the-bottom-of-my-heart-I'm-crossing-every-part-of-my-body-good-luck to everyone.

2 of my friends had been looking at this site for a while... both of them got in early haha. One to cornell, one to stanford. So i figured perhaps if I registered, id get in early to yale...

good luck to everyone... I know im nervous, but at least im on vacation now so I dont have to study...

The only thing more depressing than not knowing might be these threads popping up saying "whatever happens, you'll be fine" because that just makes me want to get my decision more!!

I also just want to wish everybody good luck! Yes, I'm a lurker too, but I just wanted to thank eveyone for providing such invaluable information here and I just know that everyone on this board has the potential to be as succesful as they desire wherever they go.

Good Luck everyone! I must say that I've never met a more friendly, talented, or witty group of people in my life. It would be a real privilege to attend Yale with all of you. I truly hope we get in.
...Does anyone know exactly what time the decisions are out?

Noon is good! Noon is good! :). Waiting only 1.5 hrs. more would be so much better!! Anyways, to answer your question, kolliparap: yes, I'm from India. Wow, it's interesting that your parents were born there...have you ever visited? It's a fascinating place (or maybe I'm just biased :p).

Ah, the Indianness makes me happy ;). My dad is from Punjab, mom from Gujarat...but I've lived in Delhi all my life. I'd love to visit Bangalore! It's supposed to be a nice place.
