Philosophize on things

I usually only post on the parents board but this post caught my eye. I have been a practicing attorney for a number of years. For law school, almost any undergraduate degree will serve you well - what is most important is that you do well and enjoy what you are learning. I double majored in Psychology and Economics as an undergrad and I can honestly say I utilize aspects of both degrees in my legal practice. No matter what field of law you enter, having some good, basic business classes is helpful. I would say that having a statistics class should be required of everyone as an undergrad - there are so many applications for it. Statistics are quoted and utilized all the time in everyday life. Good luck with your choice.

Thank you very much. Its nice to get the opinion of someone whos already gone through it all.

Philosophy is usually used as a stepping-stone into law or if you’re going into the seminary, but like PAO pointed out, almost anything could be utilized in the legal world effectively. I’m not sure what could be done with it beyond those things… Philo teacher maybe? lol.

LOL, basically i’ve just gotta decide between Econ., Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.

I’ll probably minor in one of them along with the double major.
