Fellow student in need of feedback

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post so I apologize for any inconvenience.

I just want to know, would a major in English: Literature and two minors (Math and Economics) be a great choice for a future? The reason I thought about this combination is because being a Lawyer is one of my choices for a future occupation. But after endless nights of browsing around the internet, the realities of being a lawyer is discouraging me. It is still a choice for me however, if I do quite well on the LSAT of course.

But if I don't think I would make the occupation, I will most likely attend Grad school but I would need the bills for that. So would my selection of the major and two minors be helpful? I also may minor in Physics because the knowledge of this natural science sounds really attractive, just not the occupations.

I have thought about other things such as becoming a writer and write on these topics maybe? Or write about them creatively? Don't know.

In short, why I picked this combination:

English: I like to analyze the readings, I feel like I got an creative imagination that just goes along well with this subject. Also, I have a creative and imaginative side that I do not want to throw away.
Economics: I know this would prove very helpful in life.
Math: I want to learn Math because I think it'll probably go together nicely with Economics, Physics if I decide to try it out and some side Art if I take some geometry classes.

So can anyone give me some harsh or nice, but helpful advice. I've been really stressed on break and haven't asked for any advice so here I am doing it. I kinda rushed this message because I'm in a rush to go somewhere. Also, Happy New Years everyone!

They are unrelated fields, economics may overlap math somewhat. But 3 different colleges: english/education, business, and science (math).

Math is versatile. You will need calculus cycle to do physics. And within math you can do applied math, theory math, statistics, or actuary areas. Math is what I am changing to because I feel the opportunities excite me.

Economics: If you enjoy reading theories and the topics, like math being an economist pays well and is interesting. taking Macro., Micro., Money & Banking basic classes are a good foundation for a business degree or if you want to get Economics Masters later. A lot of us accounting majors took econometrics electives because we were bored of intermediate & advanced accounting theory.

Choose English if you want to teach English to others as a teacher or professor. I love writing but have known at least 2 friends who choose one choose English and the other creative writing and eventually ended up with unrelated jobs. My mother is an English professor & used to teach elementary-high school English so I know how getting/maintaining certifications works. If you know grammar well teaching English is an option. I am a great creative writer as a hobby but don’t know the grammar rules well, so majoring in English wouldn’t work for me as a career. You can still be a writer without an English degree just copyright & send drafts to publishers through your agent. You can minor in English for enjoyment. If you want to teach it getting education degree in English helps to meet the certification requirements.
