Does columbia offer journalism and computer science as a double major? do they allow students to take two different major in different colleges?
and is columbia score choice for sat? and how many sat 2 do i have to take?
thanks

Journalism isn’t offered as an undergrad major.

If you double major, you have to stay within the same school. I think you can concentrate in other schools.

but according to naviance they have journalism as major? but they have comp. sci right? can you talk about comp.sci more?

Interestingly, they just started a dual CS-Journalism masters.

This doesn’t help you though - journalism classes are for grad students only as far as i know - it’d be hard if not impossible to take them as undergrad.

I’m in the CS department, it’s nice but the programming was hard for me (on the other hand, the theory was too much for some people I know). If you take it in the college, the major as a whole is very relaxed, but there’s more work on core classes. Engineers have a looot more reqs for the major, but less core.
