I'm looking for colleges in the Midwest known for high acceptance rates into first choice med schools and strong science curricula. I'm looking at Vanderbilt and Northwestern, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Also, are the rumors about Vanderbilt being somewhat stuck up true? If so, to what degree?
Thanks

Try Case Western.

You should look at the University of Kansas.

Lawrence University

http://www.lawrence.edu/admissions/acaddepts/med_school.pdf

No more than NU.

Knox College - although it is smaller than your other choices, Knox offers early admissions to Rush Medical school.

[Early Admission Program to Medical School - Knox College](http://www.knox.edu/Academics/Courses-of-Study/Medicine/Early-Admission.html)

Id definately look at University of Michigan. It has a med school as well but is very good at sciences etc. Also Id look at notre dame. Their acceptance to med school is one of the highest at 75%

the two best schools in the midwest are uchicago and northwestern.

Kalamazoo is well-known for the natural sciences and pre-med preparation.

I’ve heard fantastic things about Hope and Earlham but unfortunately don’t know much about either.

Thanks for the suggestions!
