I took the US History subject test and got a 750 on it which is a decently competitive score. However, I only got a 1210/1840 on the reasoning so I will most likely not be sending that score and only reporting my ACT score. If I send my subject test scores, will my Reasoning test score be sent as well? Is it possible to only send one? Will colleges know if I do that?

You can prevent scores from being sent by College Board (the testing agency) when you order them sent by choosing which scores not to send. Its default position is to send all scores and thus when you order official scores sent you need to choose ones not to send to prevent one or more tests from being sent. If you choose not to send a score, CB sends nothing to indicate you ever even registered for the test.

The next thing you have to check is what your high school does. Many put all your scores on your official high school transcript sent to colleges, so preventing CB from sending the score may accomplish nothing.

Next, you need to check the requirements of the particular colleges to which you will be applying. Most allow you to send whatever scores you want to send. However, a number require you to send all SAT scores if you send any SAT II scores and some just require all SAT scores even if you submit ACT. You need to follow the particular college’s rules when applying.
