I’m an HS student looking to get into a college’s undergrad biomedical engineering program. At schools like Rutgers, UMass, RPI, BU, UConn, Binghamton, or University of Rochester, what would be an SAT Math score that would get me a good shot at getting in? For example, what scores would give me a 50/50 shot, 75, or 100 percent chance at some of these schools? Currently my practice SAT Math scores are about low 600s. (of course there is not actually a 100 percent chance but you get what I’m saying)
There are websites that can help you find this kind of info. I think years ago when my family did college research we used Parchment (?)
Look up the common data set for each of these schools. In general though, 700+ for engineering and the higher the better.
What is your GPA? It is not all about test scores.
Freshman year 95 sophmore 92 which I think traslates to a 3.7 or 3.8
Look up the 75th percentile SAT scores on these schools’ Common Data Set. That’s typically a good target to use for the standardized test portion of an application to have a good chance at admissions. But it’s only part of the application.
