Good School vs. Good Aid

<p>The very FIRST thing you and your family should do since your are a junior is to figure out how much they can pay or are willing to contribute to your college education. Engage them and get them involved in your college search. Once you know that $$, then you can begin to research colleges that you can attend that they can afford with no additional help and you can research colleges that have a high probability of meeting your financial situation using the test scores you will most likely have this spring, your GPA, the colleges financial aid policies, the college’s institutional policies regarding TRUE merit aid (not merit aid based on financial need.)</p>
