good schools for international relations/political science?

i'm interested in international relations and politcal science. what are the schools that have good programs in these fields?
thanks

What kind of schools are you looking for? Ivies?

I recommend a book called The College Finder by Steven Antonoff for finding colleges known for strengths in specific majors. It’s the best book I’ve found on that subject.

For international relations, the best schols are Georgetown, American, Tufts, GW, and Hopkins. Other strong choices are Claremont McKenna, Colgate, Bucknell, Emory, U Chicago, Stanford, Duke, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, USC, and all the Ivies. For political science, the list reads roughly the same.

Don’t forget international schools like McGill, Oxford, and London School of Economics.

Anything in or near Washington DC is going to have some basic advantages in internships and the like. I think the very best for what you’re looking for is Georgetown SFS, which is pretty hard to get into.

Some other also are, Ohio State (Political Science), Michigan State, Seton Hall (IR) and University of Rochester.
