You may be able to qualify for academic scholarships at schools like Northeastern or Cuse, though competition is tough. Your stats are probably high enough.

I would steer clear of public schools where you don’t have reciprocity. They won’t give you much aid.

Altogether, its a pretty good list you have.

Any interest in Cornell? I would think you’d have a shot there. One of the schools is an ag school (not that you want/need that) and one is a “charter” school (sorry I’m vague but I think it offers NYS students aid).

Sorry – “New York State contract unit” is the correct term. It includes 4 schools (Agriculture and Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Human Ecology, and School of Industrial and Labor Relations): A partnership that works for New York State.
Cornell’s role as New York State’s land grant institution, and the public responsibilities that come with that status, are reflected in activities throughout the university. However, four of the schools at Cornell are directly tied to the university’s land grant mission, and receive operating and construction funds from New York State.

I don’t know how this translates into financial aid or acceptance, but maybe your GC would know?

If you’re going to be visiting GWU, Georgetown and U Maryland (I assume College Park), then you should take a quick look at American. I know you said you’re done with your list of where to visit, but it would be a pity to miss looking at a school that matches your interests when you’re already going to be in the area. Many students seem to strongly prefer either American or GW; a quick visit to both should let you know what you like better. At the very least, if you only go to GWU and end up hating it then see if you can go by American.

You’ve said that money isn’t an issue, but GWU and American offer merit aid (ditto UMCP if you apply by their Nov 1 early deadline).

Finally, American students (and ONLY American students) are allowed to trick-or-treat on Embassy Row.

I’ve been told by some other people to look at Cornell and I might see it because we will be visiting Ithaca but I don’t know if I want to go there just because it’s Cornell and all. The schools I have on my list I have really actually put consideration to and I think they’re my best fits. But thanks for suggestion :)
