I'm trying to self study for the AP mechanics test with the Barron's textbook, but I've heard from some people that it's not very good, and I've already spotted at least one significant error in it. Is this just me?

What are the best books for self studying physics C mechanics?

Thanks for the help.

Yeah never trust Barron with anything, seriously. I’m taking AP Physics B and the Princeton Review has a Physics AP B+C book which I’m pretty satisfied with; it gives you the gist of a all the topics in ascending order starting with Newtonian Mechanics and it has refreshing practice quizzes and I haven’t looked at the actual practice test but I’m sure there’s two or more? The only thing is that is the first book I’ve gotten so I can’t really compare the book to anything else but it is evident that Barron is unreliable. Either way it’s something I’d vouch for.

^thanks for the advice.

Just got the Princeton Review’s AP Physics C and the McGraw Hill’s five steps to a 5 for Physics B and C. Seems much easier to understand.
