^ Got invited to join. I’d invite CC too but a) I doubt mods allow it and I just got warned today, b) I can’t find the link to invite -_- I heard they took the invite down. But I can provide pics to prove I’m not lying.

theys hut down invites for the night due to crazy demand

I will reiterate:

Google owns at everything.

I hate mark zuckerberg’s philosophy with a passion.

What is Mark Zuckerberg’s philosophy?

Wikipedia’s summary: Mereological nihilism (also called compositional nihilism) is the position that objects with proper parts do not exist (not only objects in space, but also objects existing in time do not have any temporal parts), and only basic building blocks without parts exist, and thus the world we see and experience full of objects with parts is a product of human misperception (i.e., if we could see clearly, we would not perceive compositive objects).

I would agree that it’s ********

^So it it saying everything in the world isn’t really there?

Everything I’ve been hearing about circles makes it seem like it might actually be the weak part of the whole social network. I don’t think most people want to literally categorize all of their friends into different groups. Putting it in writing seems kind of weird. But thats just my opinion and I’m not too big on social networking in general. The “hangout” feature seems kind of interesting but it needs a new name.

Why would businesses want to deal with it? For the same price they can buy a similar PC laptop without the obvious security and reliability concerns of having your entire business data and operations depend on Google’s cloud and an Internet connection.

Because 62% of Americans buy computers based upon appearance?

Google+ looks like it’ll be interesting, now if only the signup opened back up

And now, a relevant quote from The Big Lebowski
“Nihilists! **** me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it’s an ethos”

After further examination, my omniscience being has concluded that this will most likely be a flop. Chacha.

Any xkcd fans on this thread? New one today is relevant here : [xkcd: Google+](xkcd: Google+)

I just got Google+ and I must say, its really good. Its simple, fresh, and cool. It improves on everything Facebook lacks.

I can guarantee you that if this doesn’t work out Google will attempt to buy Facebook just like they bought out YouTube .
^

LOL!

hi5 ftw!!!

10 char

It won’t kill facebook, but it will be a contender. It’s more family and friend based, so you won’t be able to contact people who aren’t too close with you, so facebook’s still there for that. Also, around 1/10 of the world have facebook accounts, most people are still going to stick with facebook.

My point exactly. Then again, Facebook is doing the same thing.

This another step towards Google dominating the world. We must run to the hills, bring weapons and ammunition, and invest in gold.

Nobody around me seems to know about this (I found out via my FB news feed). When people start signing up for Google+ I am going to say “I thought y’all would”
