My dream is to work somewhere high up in Google. I know there really isn't any formula to getting a job, but what would be the basic guideline to going about my dream? I'm going to major in Computer Science when I go to college, obviously (somewhere like UCLA, Berkeley, UMichigan). What else would I have to do?

Google is no longer a hot company. Google stock has not been doing that well, you don’t need to super focus on Google.

Really, don’t make your life’s dream to be a good corporate cog/soldier for one single company. Ug. Instead make yourself prepared for opportunities that arise. It is very simple. Do well in school, look out for special opportunities to do research and internships. Know your algorithms and data structures.

Exactly!
