<p>I am a Computer Science major senior. Six months research experience on information assurance. Interested in computer system and network security research. And I have INFOSEC professional certificate awarded by my school (UT Austin) by Committee on National Security Systems. Overall GPA 3.79. Major GPA 3.92 (13 As and 1 B). </p>
<p>I was not thinking about applying to grad school (PHD) earlier. And I know it is a little bit too late to ask. What I am going to do now is to prepare for my GRE, and I already asked a few of my professors to write me letters of recommendation. </p>
<p>I googled a little bit and tried to find out what schools would be best fits for me however I could not find anything particularly useful because those students did not post their stats for me to compare with.</p>
<p>For those of you who have gone through the the process of applying to grad school, especially those of you whose major is engineering or computer science, would you tell me what schools I should aim for? Because I simply cannot afford to apply to tons of schools at this late stage.</p>
