got financial aid award letter, accepted?

<p>Hey all, I applied to USC as a transfer and my decision is currently making it's way through the mail (it was first sent to my current undergrad school and is being forwarded to my home on the east coast). Anyways, I got an email saying my "2010-2011 award information was recently posted to your online record". Does that mean I was accepted? Or do all transfers who applied for financial aid get sent this even if they were denied? </p>

<p>They only calculate award packages for *accepted *students. Congratulations!</p>

<p>***Note for others reading: They request financial information - tax returns, non-filer’s forms, etc. from ALL financial aid applicants whether they are ultimately accepted or denied, but only *calculate and present packages *to accepted students.</p>
